May need to put my insole inserts like I do with my road trainers.

Bought 1 size larger than my shoe size, not narrow, enough toe wiggle room without foot slipping in shoe. There's a little less forefoot cushioning in these as compared to the Bondis I run in on the pavement, but it's fine-grass and dirt are much easier on the bones than pavement.Ĭomments: First pair of Torrent shoes, comfortable and offers good support but much lighter than my past trail runners. The Torrent s have great grab, even when it's mucky and wet out there, and the laces stay in place. I'm training for a half marathon in the fall, and running mostly on grassy/muddy trails. They were true to size and would recommend them to anyone.Ĭomments: Loving these shoes so far. Wisconsin October 12th, 2021Ĭomments: I used the shoes this weekend on hikes in Moab and they were great from the first time I put them on. Definitely recommend these shoes!įrom: Anonymous. I was so stoked about that, sent back the 8.5 for an 8 & they shipped those out to me very fast! The 8s fit perfectly & they are comfortable & amazing for hiking & trail running, don't even have to break them in much. Luckily, I found out that Running Warehouse has a 90 day no sweat return policy!! Even if you have worn them already. But if you prefer a normal or a wide toe box, steer clear!Ĭomments: I love these shoes! I actually ordered an 8.5 at first thinking I should size up half a size, but they were too big. I think if you have narrow feet you will. I cut the run short and when I took off my shoes, my toes were stacked on each other. The rest of my toes were numb by 1.5 miles in. My pinky and "ring finger" toes went numb about. I felt it rubbing on my pinky toes out of the box, but took it for a short spin anyway. But this was worse than wearing a pair of stilettos. I was really excited about the Torrent after hearing good reviews and reading the specs.

And they are super cute - get lots of compliments!Ĭomments: Excruciatingly painful shoe. The HOKA Torrent 2 kept me feeling good on my feet all day. Oak Hills, CA January 6th, 2022Ĭomments: Love these! From the moment I laced them on they were so comfortable! I am a trainer and group ex instructor and I'm training on my feet all day. My achilles became incredibly fragile/sensitive. I have incredibly high arches, very tight achilles, and supinate.

I have a "challenging fee" (per my podiatrist. RW doesn't carry women's Stinson ATRs, so I thought I would try a different Hoka. I burned through the Stinson 6 ATRs too quickly (4 pairs per year).
